QUERY LETTER AND SYNOPSIS EDITING / $200

This service is the same as the one described above, but with additional notes on a synopsis of up to four double-spaced pages.

SUBMISSION PACKAGE EDITING / $300

Looking to make the best possible first impression with an agent or editor? With this service, I will provide you with content notes and line edits on your query, synopsis, and opening ten double-spaced pages, the sample length of prose many literary agencies and publishing houses request.

When I was working in editorial acquisitions, if I wasn't hooked by the query letter and the initial pages, I was told to just skim or skip the rest entirely. Agents and publishers don't have the time or energy to read countless pages in the hopes that a manuscript magically "gets better later." Ensure your submission will shine, and avoid sabotaging all your hard work with an ineffective sample, by investing in professional editing.
